Mandy Watson BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP MHCPC
Mandy is the Clinical Director and Senior Founding Partner. Mandy has always had a interest in the profession, working as a Therapy Assistant in stroke at the Lister hospital before undertaking her formal training in 1998.
Mandy’s interests quickly focused on specialising in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy. Mandy has worked in both the NHS and private sector as a Senior Physiotherapist for over 20 years now.
Mandy underwent additional, specialist training in Injection Therapy in 2006. Mandy uses this specific clinical skill to compliment her advanced physiotherapy skills.
As a further enhancement to her clinical practice Mandy uses Extra Corporeal Shockwave Therapy for recalcitrant conditions that have failed to respond to more traditional forms of treatment.
As the Clinical Director at the Clinic, she oversees all of the clinical team to ensure our patients receive the most up to date and effective form of treatment.
Mandy is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy ( CSP) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Rebecca Sessions BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP MHCPC
Becky qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist over 15 Years ago from The University of Hertfordshire.
She worked within the NHS for a number of years specialising in MSK Physiotherapy before going to work for a local private hospital.
In 2010 she won a scholarship to Bradford University and was awarded a Post Graduate Certificate for Physiotherapy in Women’s Health.
She subsequently worked locally for Ramsey Health as their national lead in Women’s and Men’s Health Physiotherapy.
Becky specialises in:
– Women’s and Men’s Health (therapeutic treatment of incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain and constipation)
– Mummy MOT
– Complex MSK conditions
– Acupuncture for MSK and pregnancy related issues

Tracy Draper BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP MHCPC MAPPI
Tracy is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 13 years of experience working within the NHS. She is our longest serving Associate having been working with the clinic for over 10 years.She also works part time as a senior MSK Physiotherapist within the local NHS outpatient department.
Tracy Specialises in:
– Clinical Pilates. Tracy is a fully accredited member of the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy &Pilates Institute) and has a wealth of experience teaching Clinical Pilates classes as well as 1 to 1 sessions.
She has completed training in both Ante and Post-natal Pilates, Pilates for scoliosis,and also runs and advanced course of Pilates for Runners.

Rachel Copp MSc BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP MHCPC
Rachel is a Chartered Physiotherapist attaining a first-class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Brighton University.
She has worked with-in both the NHS and private sector since, specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy for the last 10 years. In Hertfordshire, Rachel ran the regional Ankylosing Spondylitis exercise group. She is now an Advanced Spinal Physiotherapy Practitioner at Addenbrooks Hospital and has attained an Advanced Physiotherapy degree at Masters level.

Rick Watson BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP PG. Cert. MHCPC FCMI
Rick is a Founding Partner and the Consultant Physiotherapist at the Clinic. His career focus has always been in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy and has worked with in both the NHS and private sector as a Senior Physiotherapist for the past 20 years.
He has also worked closely with Orthopaedic consultants as an Orthopaedic Practitioner triaging surgical referrals, authorising appropriate imaging and administering soft tissue and joint injections where appropriate.
He is our lead injection therapist with 14 years of experience in the field. In addition, Rick is an Honorary Fellow at the University of Hertfordshire where he is lead lecturer on the Masters Level Injection Therapy module. Rick is an Independent Prescriber, a qualification which allows him to support the Clinic with the management of complex conditions.
Rick has a specialist background in the Case Management of medico legal poly-trauma.
Rick’s full time role is as Head of Therapies for Bedfordshire Hospitals, across both Bedford hospital and the Luton & Dunstable hospital where he is accountable for Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Speech & Language, Orthotic and Prosthetic services.

– Case management of complex MSK injuries
– Pain management advice
– Soft tissue and peripheral joint injections
– Honorary Fellow, University of Hertfordshire. As an Alumni, Rick lectures in pharmacology and also leads the MSK Injection Therapy Module. Rick has taught pharmacology and Injection Therapy both nationally and internationally.

In his spare time Rick enjoys field sports, skiing and spending time with his family and mad Working Cocker Spaniel called Cosmo!
Martyn is qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from the University of Hertfordshire 8 years ago and has worked within the NHS since as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist.
He has worked with the clinic since 2018. He has a special interest in functional rehabilitation, working closely with his patients in our gym area.
Martyn specialises in:
– Sports injury treatment and functional rehabilitation
– Shoulder injuries and rehabilitation of the sporting shoulder
– Acupuncture

Miles is a Senior MSK Physiotherapist at The Physiotherapy Clinic – Stotfold. Miles also works as a First Contact Practitioner (FCP) within GP surgeries in Milton Keynes.
Miles has a BSc degree in both Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy, he also has over 10 years of Sports Massage experience.
He has qualifications in Non-Medical Prescribing, Injection Therapy and Acupuncture.
Miles uses a blend of graded home exercise programmes, along with manual therapy techniques to help patients recover from their injuries. His main interests/hobbies are Football (QPR) and F1.

Karen’s background is in HR but she has worked within the Physiotherapy sector for the past 10 years providing administrative services to a number of different local practices before joining The Physiotherapy Clinic, Stotfold.
Karen is responsible for the smooth running of reception and administration and always provides a friendly and professional welcome to our patients.
In her spare time, Karen endeavours to keep fit and particularly enjoys the Spinning classes at her local gym.
She is also a member of Hitchin Rock Choir, and never one to seek the limelight, she can usually be spotted in the back row during performances!
Theresa joined us nearly 3 years ago. She has always worked with the public in retail and later working in treatment clinics.
When Theresa is not working, she looks after her much loved grandson and also loves walking, playing badminton as well as seeing friends and family.
Theresa also loves a good quiz or tribute dance night out and has been known to cover most of the floor with her dance moves!
